• 🌊West Hill (The Hills): This is where you'll find many boutique hotels with views. You'll need a motorbike or taxi for everything.
• ????Gerupuk: A surfer's paradise east of Kuta. It's a very peaceful fishing village. It's the best place if your priority is the waves. You're about 20 minutes by motorbike from Kuta town center.

Homestays: The option low cost where to stay in Kuta Lombok

We start with the cheapest hotels to stay in Kuta Lombok. There's a lot options between €7-20 for a double roomThey often include a small breakfast of toast or pancakes. We've stayed in two homestays and the rooms have always been spacious, air-conditioned and cleanPlus, the owners have always been lovely. For me, they're the best option if you're not looking for fancy accommodation and you're going to spend most of the day exploring the island.

Their locations are usually a little far from the centerIt's best to have a motorbike to get around, but you can also walk; in our case, we were about 15-20 minutes from the main shopping street. These are the three we recommend, although there are many more that are surely great too.

This is the accommodation category I would definitely choose for a holiday In Kuta Lombok, we usually opt for budget-friendly options because we're always traveling, but if we were only coming for a few days as part of an Indonesia itinerary, I would definitely take advantage of the incredible value for money in the town and surrounding area to book some nice accommodation. Some of them are dreamy. for less than €60/€70 for a double room.

I've included different options, divided by whether the price in high season is below €80/€90 or above. As I mentioned before, if you travel outside of July and August, these prices will drop considerably. I recommend you start looking into it. El hotel Somewhere Lombok Located in the hills, it offers private villas with infinity pool And with breathtaking views, it seems like the perfect place to forget about the world. Kalma Bamboo, villas located on the outskirts, surrounded by nature and with a superbly maintained Balinese style.

Hotels in Geperuk

Finally, if you're a surf lover and want to be right up close to the best waves, you have the Surf Shack GroupAll reviews agree that it has a great surfer vibe, the staff are lovely, and a double room costs around €20. Another alternative is Japanese homestaycabins for €12/15.
