Day 1: Arrival in Egypt
The first day of any trip is one of the most complicated to plan.car since you depend heavily on your flight's arrival time.
Avoid taxis, use Uber or Careem To get from the airport to your hotel in the city center, I recommend the Cairo Hub. It is also highly recommended sleep in a hotel in Giza with views of the Pyramids such as Queen Pyramids View.
If you have arrived in the capital early you can take advantage of taking a walk through the most famous areas such as the Khan-el-Jalili bazaar as night falls.
Day 2: Visit the Pyramids
Visiting and exploring the Pyramids of Giza is one of the most exciting visits of any 15-day itinerary through Egypt, so let's start with the main course and dedicate the first morning to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.

Day 3: Touring Cairo

Day 5: Visit Aswan

Day 6: Self-guided excursion to Abu Simbel
Another of the great moments of any itinerary through Egypt in 15 days arrives, the visit to Abu Simbel, a temple in the middle of the desert that needs no introduction. The cheapest way is to take a bus early in the morning and then return in a shared van. The most comfortable alternative is to arrange a transfer with a taxi driver the day before (you don't pay anything until you return). It's cheaper than a tour and believe me, without people you enjoy it ten times more.
Keep in mind that it takes about 4 hours to go and another 4 hours to return. If you don't want to take so many transports in the same day you can also spend the night in a Abu Simbel hotel and return to Aswan on the next day's bus. It's a great option to go at sunset when almost no one visits.
Day 7: Last day in Aswan
Enjoy this day to visit the Temple of Philae, which will take you almost a whole morning. When you return from the temple, take the opportunity to rest and eat some Egyptian dish that you have not yet tried. We recommend several in where to eat in Aswan.
In the afternoon you can stroll through the souk in search of the city's famous spices or haggling for souvenirs. A good night plan is to have a cup of tea and try a shisha to fully integrate into the local culture.
Day 8 and 9: Discover the jewels of Luxor
Halfway through this 15-day Egypt itinerary, we take a short hop to start exploring Luxor, the ancient Thebes that was the capital of Egypt. If you are touring the Nile on a cruise, all the visits will already be included, however, if you decide to go on your own like us, we will leave you with what we would do these two days.
You can go in vanpool, but also by private taxi, which will allow you to stop at the temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo. If there are several of you, a taxi will probably be better.
I dedicated my first day in Luxor tocarI was going to visit the Luxor and Karnak temples on the east shore of the Nile. Both will take you quite a while to walk around, especially Karnak, which is the largest one in existence.

Day 10: Excursion to the Temple of Dendera, an unknown gem on this 15-day itinerary through Egypt
Dendera is one of the best temples to see on this 15-day itinerary through Egypt, a must-see for me. No matter how many temples you think you've already seen in Egypt, Dendera will surprise you.
It is located in Qena, a town near Luxor that you can reach by bus, private taxi that you negotiate or in a excursion. The best part about going by tour or taxi is that you will have time to go to both Dendera and Abydos. (another brutal temple that few people visit). Going to both by public transport is quite complicated due to distances and schedules.

Day 11: Transfers to the Red Sea
After many days of history and kicking around in the sun It's time for this 15-day itinerary through Egypt to spend a few days on the Red Sea A well-deserved break! Get ready to sip a mango juice with a view of the sea and see lots of tropical fish.
The Most famous places to visit the Red Sea They are Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh and Dahab, my favorite.
If you choose Hurghada and its surroundings you can easily reach it by direct bus from Luxor. On the other hand, Dahab and Sharm el Sheikh in the Sinai peninsula are further away. You will need to take a plane or overnight bus from Luxor to Cairo and then another flight to Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 12 and 13: Enjoy the Red Sea
There are so many things to do in the Red Sea, although it is undoubtedly most notable for its diving, snorkelling and desert landscapes surrounded by turquoise waters. It is also one of the cheapest places in the world to go diving and also to take a course or a baptism and experience the underwater world for the first time.

Whatever you do, the Red Sea in Egypt is one of those places where you can disconnect from the world. We spent just over a week in Dahab and It was one of those places that you haven't left yet and you already want to return to. If you decide to go, I recommend spending a night in a Bedouin camp in Ras Abu Galoum.
All inclusive in the Red Sea
Is your body craving a few days of vacation in a horizontal position? The Red Sea is a great destination for that. The best alternative in the Sinai Peninsula is Sharm El Sheik, a city with great resort offer with private access to beaches with incredible coral, such as Fanar Beach.
