A LITTLE HISTORY
Visiting Rupit i Pruit is like traveling back to the Middle Ages. Rupit originated approximately in the year 1000 when its castle was built and settlers began to build houses around it.
The town evolved slowly and maintained its population until the 17th and 18th centuries when several noble families moved, making where the town was located reach its maximum splendor.. HOW TO GET THERE AND WHERE TO PARK

Another option to go to Rupit would be by bus from Vic, it is a journey of 1 hour or so, and they do not pass very frequently, but the possibility exists. You could also get to Vic by train from Barcelona by buying a 6-zone ticket. The total route should be quite long so if you choose this option you should at least stay the weekend to take advantage.
WHAT TO SEE AND DO IN RUPIT
Once you've parked, it's time to explore!
The first thing I recommend is that you go to the Rupit suspension bridge to cross the small river and enter the Middle Ages. The bridge moves a little and has a maximum capacity of people who can cross it at the same time, so it's best not to do anything strange on top of it, just in case.
Once crossed you reach Barbacana Street, one of the main streets, if you follow it you will reach the Plaza Mayor, walking through part of the historic helmet. Take it easy and pay attention to the details of the cobbled floor, stone facades, wooden balconies and windows full of flowers, It has a lot of charm and walking through the streets you want to stop at every corner.
If you look closely you will also see that some of these houses have an inscription above the door with their date of construction, and calculating that they were built more than 400 years ago, even so, they are wonderfully preserved.
In the Plaza Mayor you will find the Church of Sant Miquel de Rupit, of baroque style and built in the 13th century, is one of the icons of the city, its bell tower can be seen from many points in the town.
The Hermitage of Santa Magdalena You can't miss it either. It is on the outskirts of Rupit, approximately 1km from the center. It dates back to the year 1660 and although it was later restored in 1973, it retains its style, baroque, but very humble. Although in my opinion they are the views you have from there of the entire town and the stones that surround it are very well appreciated. - The Parish of Sant Joan de Fàbregues, it is reached through a path of about 3km, almost all of it on track. It is an impressive Romanesque building, and as it could not be otherwise with scandalous views.
- Bassis Viewpoint It can be accessed through a detour from this same track that takes us to Sant Joan de Fàbregues. We didn't get to go but gossiping about the photos on Google Maps it looks very good.
